Yasuhiko Takashiba & Suguru Ishida - Beans (Dead Dance/Hey Punk! Are You Tuff E Nuff?) ~2nd Dance with Dead Dance~
Poor game, pretty good soundtrack. This happened quite often on the SNES.

After a hectic month of family drama and a brief stint of homelessness, SSTW is back underway. I’m not sure how many of you still keep up with this blog, but I can assure you that this isn’t a fly-by-night project. Super Save the World WILL be completed. It’s not a matter of ‘if’ but only of ‘when’ it will happen.
However, the team and I have run into a few snags. The first is that I simply cannot afford a copy of RPG Maker VX Ace at the moment. I have been using an ‘extended’ trial of the Japanese version with a fan translation patch. Because of this, all of the comments in the engine’s built-in scripts are still in Japanese, which makes it difficult for me, a complete scripting novice, to figure out what’s what. I could really, really use someone who is far more knowledgeable about scripting than myself to lend me a hand with it. If anyone out there would be willing to spend some of their time aiding me in the creation of Super Save the World, I’d GREATLY appreciate it.
If it just so happens that I’m posting into the void and no one cares about this game except for Gen and myself, so be it. I’ll finish it anyway, and even if no one plays it, then I’ll have at least stuck to my vision and saw it through to the end. To me, that’s what matters most of all.
David Warhol & Erik Swanson - The Enemy Commander (Metal Warriors) ~?~
If you haven’t noticed yet, I have a thing for boss BGMs.
Junichi Masuda - Boss Battle with Gun’you (Bushi Seiryuuden: Futari no Yuusha) ~SHIT LORD~
And now, things start to get a little weird…
Norihiko Yamanuki - Epic Confrontation (The 7th Saga) ~?~
This song still haunts my nightmares to this day.
Naked Trump - Battle with Gara (Bastard!!: Ankoku no Hakai-shin) ~Bloody Knuckles~
Super Nintendo METAL. YES.
Working on a poster type thingy for a friend.
FANART?! Before the game is even finished?! How can this be?!
…?!
Development of SSTW is getting far more involved; as such, information posted to this blog from here on out will be, at best, sparse and spartan. I will post pictures and give little to no insight as to what they might be, and post songs without any write-ups to go with them. You can also expect screenshots of the game in the future, but I will be actively avoiding spoiling the story any more than I already have!
I have no definite deadline for when SSTW will be finished. My rough estimate is sometime in Q1 2013, but that is highly subject to change. Also, feel free to ask me any questions pertaining to SSTW by using the “QUESTIONS/COMMENTS” link on the blog. I will answer them to the best of my abilities.
Thanks for following me, and I hope you all enjoy SSTW when it’s finished!

Athletic, hyperactive and just a little bit off-kilter, Kicks is the sidekick that Jill the Fist never wanted. Regardless of how Jill feels about it, she is followed around by this spunky teenage lucha libre mask-wearing girl and constantly bothered by her unbearable happy-go-lucky attitude. She’s a talented martial artist specializing in Muay Thai kickboxing, excels in various sports (especially basketball), and has an unrivaled obsession with sneakers.
However, Kicks’ presence and persistence raise more questions pertaining to the mystery surrounding Jill the Fist; just who is this girl, and what exactly is her relation to the mental patient-turned-superhero? Is it possible that she knows more about Jill than Jill, herself?
